Global Scholars Symposium
Engaging the World: The First Undergraduate Global Scholars Report Back
This symposium celebrates the inaugural Global Scholars Programs organized by theWeatherhead East Asian Institute (WEAI) and the Blinken European Institute (BEI) in collaboration with Columbia Global Centers. The GSP in Asia took eleven undergraduates on a six-week intensive research trip in Beijing, Shanghai, and Mumbai to examine environment and urbanization in the region. The GSP in Europe took nine students to Paris for a semester-long program centered on the theme of Inequality/Inequalities and focusing on the development of original research.
