ON THIS DAY IN 2001 -
On Sept. 11, 2001, suicide hijackers crashed two airliners into the World Trade Center in New York, causing the 110-story twin towers to collapse. Another hijacked airliner hit the Pentagon and a fourth crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.
But today The New York Times has no problem saying – in an OP-ED CONTRIBUTION:

The Bush administration was told, as early as May 2001, about the threat of an attack by Al Qaeda but it chose not to listen, Then, after the fact it chose to leave unfinished the effort in Afghanistan in order to seek the oil of Iraq. Business was always more important to this ilk then the Nation’s well being.
