WE DO POST THIS IN TOTAL DISTRUST OF WHAT THE NEW YORK BASED BUSINESS CONNECTION HEADED BY Dr. SUSAN SEGAL IS IMPOSING ON THE COLOMBIANS –  and if I dare to say so – also on President Obama.   Does really Colombia’s Government, and the US Government as well, want to be seen as if Colombia is a stooge of Wall Street?

On June 14, 2012, AS/COA will host their sixteenth Bogota conference, “Colombia in the Eyes of Wall Street,” co-organized with ANIF and Fedesarrollo. As in past years, this conference will analyze Colombia’s growth prospects and discuss the country’s medium and long-term macroeconomic projections. Local and international speakers will talk about fiscal and monetary policy, capital markets, foreign trade, implementation of the U.S.-Colombia FTA, and infrastructure development related to energy and mining.
