Energy Talks Ossiach 2012
The aim of the Energy Talks Ossiach is to develop visions of a future humane oriented energy supply and to make the first steps to a concrete and visible implementation.
The organizers say that his could only be achieved by a serious discussion about the best solutions and joint efforts of politics, economy and science.
Since 1997 the Energy Talks Ossiach provide an independent and international respected platform.
In three conference days renowned personalities, representatives of international companies and leading scientists will discuss the regulative basis order of the energy markets, new business models, changed quality criteria and their financing. Inspired by the picturesque ambience of the region around the lake Ossiach and the diversified social program the participants will make new contacts and generate new projects.
To us a special interest is to talk with Mr. Klaus Toepfer – the former Minister of Environment of Germany, who was instrumental in achieving the results at the Rio 1992 World Summit, and followed up thereafter as first Head of UNEP.

The so called „Energy Transition“ is the reversal from a fossil- and in some countries also nuclear energy generation – to an renewable energy generation structure and supply. This requires a complete restructuring of our energy systems. This needs new technologies, new structures, rules and markets, as well as new ethical values for the handling of the valuably property „Energy“.

from 9.00 amSession: Energy@Hybridgrids – Technique, Infrastructure and Implementation
Hybridgrids make extreme demands to the new technologies: they should be secure, environment-friendly, socially acceptable, risk arm and for sure not that expensive as technologies are today. Whether this is possible is still in question. When it will be possible, only through systemic approaches and extensive implementation.

from 4:00 pmSession: Energy@Hybridgrids – Mobilisation of other Branches
Intelligent Hybrid systems of the future allow a lot more than the actual energy supply. They are the fundament of the development of new services and products more over then the energy industry only. Leading the charge could be new energy-apps or electronic mobility or rather the CO2-free gas mobility. They make smart grids understandable and touchable.
