Palin gives first big speech on ‘strategic energy independence.’
According to running mate John McCain, Sarah Palin “knows more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States of America.” And she set out to prove it in a Toledo, Ohio, stump speech Wednesday titled “Achieving Strategic Energy Independence.” Was it a fresh vision or the same old ‘drill, baby, drill’?
