Subject: Input on CCS policies kindly requested and welcomed

Dear Colleagues,

The EU project “Support to Regulatory Activities for Carbon Capture and Storage”, or STRACO2, would like to ask for your expertise on policy aspects relating to CCS. The project includes a stakeholder consultation, and we would therefore like to ask you to fill in a questionnaire. We value your participation and views on the subject very highly.

The project consists of partners from a wide range of organizations based in Europe as well as China and is funded by the EU under FP 7. The focus is on utilizing available policy knowledge and experience, with the aim to highlight good policy lessons. The findings will be developed into recommendations for establishing a CCS policy framework in China.

The questionnaire is enclosed but can also be downloaded from the project’s website  www.euchina-ccs.org) where you also find additional information about the project. Please, feel free to forward the mail and/or questionnaire to any colleagues that you believe may be interested.

The questionnaire naturally allows for confidentiality and, of course, you only answer the questions where you whish to express your opinion.

We eagerly await your responses and would like to wish you all a fantastic summer ending or early spring depending on your domicile.

Best regards on behalf of the STRACO2 team, Peter Stigson
