Except for the opening all other activities are at te Tribeca Theater at 54 Varick Street, Manhattan.

Opening / Central Park
This event has become a summer tradition in New York! Cine Fest Petrobras Brasil-NY opens its doors at Central Park Summerstage with a special show by singer Maria Rita as part of the Bossa Nova tribute,, followed by the screening of feature film, Os Desafinados, directed by Walter Lima Jr. Part of the scenes were shot in NY, some of them right in Central Park. Gifts giveaway and registration for the Festival’s screenings at Tribeca Cinemas will also take place. This is just the beginning of a week full of excellent movies and lots of fun!
