From the wires:

Australian prime minister Kevin Rudd will be in Brussels on Wednesday, April 2, 2008. He is expected to be warmly welcomed by the commission after making signature of the instrument of ratification of the international treaty on climate change, the Kyoto Protocol, his first official act after being elected late last year.

We suggest President Bush do at least some move in saying he would not veto the US Senate ratification of the KP.        That would also be great for him politically to pass the buck to the Senate - would they ratify with ExxonMobil and others breezing hard?
