Dear Chamber Members and Friends:
It is with great pleasure and pride that I announce the launch of the Chamber’s newly revamped website www.brazilcham.com). The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. was one of the first bilateral business organizations to launch an online presence in the 1990s. Over the past decade, however, the information needs of the organization and our members have grown exponentially. As such, we have created a site that will serve as a true communication and information hub, adding value to Chamber membership and helping the organization become even more effective in fulfilling its mission of strengthening business and trade relations between the two nations.
The site offers Chamber members a wealth of information, networking opportunities and new online services. Members now have the opportunity to create and edit their own online profiles and access an array of members-only resources, including full digital versions of Chamber research directories, as well as streaming audio – and soon video - of panel discussions and seminars. In addition, site visitors are now able to use a convenient and secure online system for event and membership registration/payment.
The Chamber is now offering a wider variety of display advertising options on the revamped site, allowing you to market your products and services to a high-level audience of leaders in US-Brazil business in an engaging manner within a content-rich environment. To learn more about these opportunities, e-mail membership at brazilcham.com or call (212) 751-4691 or simply click here for more details.
The site also provides open-ended access to business intelligence and critical analysis from some of the leading authorities on US-Brazil trade, politics and economics so that companies interested in forging stronger bilateral business ties can develop the most forward-thinking trade and investment strategies possible. Our goal is to also facilitate greater contact between visitors, members and the organization’s leadership. The Chamber’s website will increasingly become the primary conduit by which the organization communicates with members and other cross-sections of its constituency (particularly members outside the NY Metropolitan Area).
We are extremely proud of the progress marked by the launch of this new online presence. However, we realize this is just the beginning. We now have the necessary online infrastructure to grow and develop even more robust content and functionality that directly addresses your bilateral business needs. We welcome your comments and suggestions on ways to further enhance the Chamber’s online presence in the months and years to come.
Sincerely,
Jayme Bulcão
Chairperson, Membership Committee
Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
