The Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS), a scientific
institute of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), based in
Seville, Spain, is offering several Post-Doctoral Researcher Positions in the
unit “Sustainability in Industry, Energy, and Transport”. The unit is looking
for researchers in the fields environmental economics, technoeconomic assessment
and energy and climate change.

The mission of the IPTS is to provide customer-driven support to the EU
policy-making process by researching science-based responses to policy
challenges that have both a socio-economic and a scientific or technological
dimension. The positions are for 36 months. The approximate monthly net salary
is between 2.350 and 2.560 Euro. Submission deadline: 15 October 2006 (12 pm,
