Senior Operations Specialist
Responsibilities: The Senior Operations Specialist has overall responsibility for steering projects through implementation and the CDM process end to end. Responsibilities include:
Assess projects for CDM qualification and manage the CDM validation and registration process with the host DNA and CDM Executive Board.
Manage technical due diligence on projects and collaboration with external engineering consultants.
The candidate needs to have strong relationship management capabilities for working with clients, external consultants, regulators, etc. The candidate needs to be a team player, self-motivated and entrepreneurial. Domestic and international travel will be required. International experience is a definite asset. Advanced engineering and management degrees or degrees in relevant fields strongly preferred.
Requirements:
- Project management experience
- Experience and understanding of the energy industry and its engineering aspects
- In depth understanding of CDM framework and its requirements
- CDM experience
- Local contacts in industry and government

Senior Finance Specialist
Responsibilities: The Senior Finance Specialist has overall responsibility for implementing the financial investments of Carbon Credit Capital, preparing investment proposals to potential investors and handling reporting requirements related to Carbon Credit Capital India. Responsibilities include:
- Financial due diligence on projects, project sponsors and co-investors.
- Manage relationships with co-investors in projects.
The candidate must have strong project finance experience in the energy sector, preferably in renewable energy. The candidate must have a strong understanding of project documentation and regulatory policy in the energy sector. The individual needs to be self-directed and entrepreneurial with the capacity to work in an ambiguous environment. The candidate must have an excellent understanding of risks and mitigation strategies associated with project finance in the energy sector in India.
The candidate needs to have strong relationship management capabilities for working with clients, external consultants, regulators, financial institutions, etc. The candidate needs to be a team player. Domestic and international travel will be required. International experience is a definite asset. Advanced engineering and management degrees or degrees in relevant fields strongly preferred.
Requirements:
- Experience with project finance, utilities, PPAs and other contractual documents
- Experience with energy investments
- Experience with CER transactions strongly preferred
- Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting
